We are exhibiting Chairs from the 1902 and 1926 Corwen Chair Eisteddfods and from the 1936 Powys Eisteddfod that was held in Corwen. \nAs a contrast, we also have the Chair from the 2009 Bala National Eisteddfod, which was not awarded because it was felt that the standard of poetry in the competitions was not high enough. \nThe 2009 Chair was made locally, in a workshop in Betws Gwerfyl Goch and is very different to the style of chair in the early 1900s. \n
