Nantclwyd y Dre is Wales’ oldest timbered town house, having been built in 1435. It was continually occupied for over five centuries and shows room from seven different ages. The surrounding gardens – the Lord’s Garden – also date back to the medieval age and are now being restored to show their history and development over the centuries. It was a very interesting tour and we must thank Wendy for giving us such an enjoyable evening.
