Can Edeyrnion – Amgueddfa Corwen Museum http://www.corwenmuseum.org.uk Corwen Museum | Amgueddfa Corwen Fri, 10 Mar 2017 19:26:32 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.3.4 Corwen Museum is up and running! /corwen-museum-is-up-and-running/ Mon, 16 Mar 2015 22:07:35 +0000 http://www.canedeyrnion.org.uk/?p=234 Our Museum is now open in Capel Coch (next to Bargain Booze).  It will be open every day from Saturday March 21st 2015 to Sunday 4th October 2015 and then weekends only during October 2015.   Opening times are 11.00 am to 3.45 pm approximately and admission is free (although donations will be very welcome and will help us to keep the museum going next year.)

If you want to help us with the museum (we are all volunteers) please use the contacts page or talk to the volunteers in the museum.  You will be very welcome.

Our thanks go to the Heritage Lottery Fund which has helped us to finance the exhibitions and to all the volunteers who have worked to set it up and continue to

]]> Visit to Nantclwyd y Dre /visit-to-nantclwyd-y-dre/ Sat, 23 Aug 2014 17:52:44 +0000 http://www.canedeyrnion.org.uk/?p=205 Can Edeyrnion and friends enjoyed a trip to Nantclwyd y Dre in Ruthin on Thursday 14th August. Nantclwyd y Dre is Wales’ oldest timbered town house, having been built in 1435. It was continually occupied for over five centuries and shows room from seven different ages. The surrounding gardens – the Lord’s Garden – also date back to the medieval age and are now being restored to show their history and development over the centuries. It was a very interesting tour and we must thank Wendy for giving us such an enjoyable evening.
